Yeah, I know.. This is another thread to cause trouble. lol The variety I like best..


What's your new years resolution?

(Mine is to stop letting people get away with bad behaviors in front of me, as in "I resolve to be even meaner and spiteful for less provocation.")

(I crushed a band mates' cell phone because he couldn't be bothered to turn it off, even after the 5th call in 5 minutes.) (And yeah I have to replace it, but it felt SOOOO good to crush it under foot) lol

So far I have quit smoking cigars.
I am drinking a lot more water.
I am working out again to get my muscle tone and flexability back.
I am eating more fruit and vegitables.
And I am finding out there are still not enough hours in my day to do all I want and need to do.

I still smoke cigarettes.
I drink alot more booze.
I am working out none to make sure my gut stays intact and flexable.
I am eating more cheezburgers and buffalo wings.
And while unemployed, I am finding out that there is finally enough time to do some musical things and record songs (until I start back to work).. lol..

Yeah, I am not looking to prolong this life...

I just want a better quality of life and violence. LOL

I do have to quit PUI though. (posting under the influence)

After losing around 40 lbs over the past year Im ready to work on 6 pack abs, Ha Ha

I also want to eat more chikin

I want to try to repress the urge to kill people

I will keep my stage volume under control

I will tip the soundman

I will stop flipping off the folks who holler FREEBIRD!

I will stop curising in the mic, well I'll cut back some anyway

I will learn to play "Wonderful Tonite". lol

I will wear more leather

My resolution is that I should probably try to be much less opinionated in band situations...

I'm way too critical of how a song gets performed.

Then again, maybe next year...

Oh and ZXYZ, I especially agree with you!!!!

Practice more.
Sing more.
Write again (I took the last entire year off from that!)
TRY to be more tolerant.
Write a new song on an instrument I haven't tried out yet.
Perform more.
Try to feel that magic in music that I used to feel, simply by doing it more & being more involved again.
Worry less about how others see my tunes, & concentrate more on going where I want to with it, no matter where it takes me.
Record a fair to good quality CD.

In other words - work on my musical legacy, & make it happen for myself, if for no one else. Screw y'all, anyway!

This is the best resolution, hope you get there Philby coz self consciousness can be debilitating, I guess we all have a bit of that.

To finally get all those charlie parker tunes under my belt

To finally start saving for school

To start saving for my trip to Japan this summer

I have plenty of it, and enough lack-of-skills to back up my paranoia. Stop staring, you're creeping me out.

I resolve to not make any resolutions!!
