I'll never forget the first lead guitarist I ever played with bought a brand new Gibson Les Paul vintage re-issue cherry sunburst. We rehearsed for about three hours and when he took it off he started to cry. I mean bawling his head off! He was wearing this great big belt buckle and there were dozens of deep scratches all over the back of the guitar. First time I ever saw a grown bluesman cry. Now THAT sucks, but at least he could still play the guitar.

A grown blues man.. Yeah boys ,I seen a ES 335 go down on break back about 82. It broke just below where that one was broke (near the nut)..The cat that fixed it did a HELLUVA job,You couldnt even tell it was ever damaged..The cat still plays it today with no probs. SO, get the right luthier, no prob..

Which is why I never buy a guitar off ebay if the seller is in Texas!

TEXAS ? DID SOMEONE SAY TEXAS ?
I'd sooner trust a man from Texas than someone from the east or left coast. For the most part, you can still trust a man,s handshake in TEXAS !
And I wont buy ANYTHING off of egay (no it's not a type-o)
