I slipped on the ice and twisted my ankle last night going to midnight mass. When I was younger I would have skated right across. Sucks getting old! Have a Merry Christmas to all my friends here at Bandmix, even the Capt.

Two years ago I was about ready to play a round of disc golf at doubles league and fell on the ice and simultaneously landed on my tailbone and right hand. I got a severly sprained thumb, in no time my hand was black and blue. At the same time I had a big hernia which I hadn't had operated on yet. Being right handed I'm shaking my hand on the first teebox and decide to go ahead and play anyway (I'm a stubborn Capricorn goat). I can barely grip the disc, my butt and side hurt like hell, it's about ten degrees out (yeah we play in ALL weather) and my team finishes second by a stroke. Ice can be very dangerous for sure. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE.

Just keep your hands out of those damn ol' sno-blowers!
