Is Jackson signed by a label??? I just left Nashville a year ago, and I've heard that we're goin on the road alot I'm not trying to be negative just wondering if he was signed and who the label was wanting to bill him with on tour with as a opening act???? And by what label. I went to his web site and I saw he has several original songs copywritten or published with BMI, I was wondering if he was signed or did he do his originals on an independent or basically a little more info. I'm deffinatlely good enough for a big stage envirement and I don't have any of the vices you mentioned except I smoke, however I trying to quit and have slowed waaaaaay down. Do you have to join the Musician Union basically I need a little more info thanks for think of me though I appreciate it. Also if you want to hear me go to my profile I just uploaded a song from my CD. It's in WMA format though so you gotta download it and it opens with XP's media player. Mike aka RocknMike

Hey Mike,
I could be wrong but I think Jackson is independent at this time but to get the questions you need answered its best to contact the man himself. He will lay it out straight. He is not a bu--sh--er.He has the full thing going such as agents, stage, lighting, recording.I'm the only one with him right now and I went through a background check,my references were called,I had a phone interview and then Jackson personally called and welcomed me aboard. He was an opening act for big names but now he wants to be the big name.

Sometimes its best to ask questions instead of speculating or this could be the opportunity that passes you by.

I forgot,no musicians union involved.........We are signed on as sub-contractors which means we will get 1099 at end of the year.

I hear ya mon, OK Ill drop em an email and check it out like I said in my earlier post you can hear me by just going to my profile on here now and downloading the song I uploaded it's on my CD. I can understand him wanting to check everything out. Now to be perfectly honest I've had my bouts with drugs but I've been clean now for over 15 years no problems now in that area. I'm mentioning that because of the background check thing. But I guess we've all got skeletons in our closet mines really dusty now and collecting more everyday we're gonna leave em that way too. I just want to make some excellent music to me it's all about the song. I like to play with folks not at them. Also he's in the Music Capital of the world you can find excellent players in Nashville just by walkin down the street. But we'll see I would love to play in the Big time again. Sub contractors that's too cool is the pay OK?? I'm sure it is though Sub Contractors that's a new one.
