Peavey sound board 16 channel , Peavey is good reliable eq for the road!!I expected to need a sub to go with those Pr 15 however they had plenty of lows and very clear

I bought the behringer 6 channel PA set from musicians friend .. they have an 8 channel version as well for an extra $100. I paid just over $700 for the mixer, 400 watt speakers , stands , 4 mics, and cables ... the sound is great and there are many built in effects .. I would recommend this system, it sounds great and is affordable!
Good luck!

Try a pair of JBL JRX115's and a Yamaha 512sc 500x2 powered mixer.
For a trio, this little system will rock you.

I just bought a Yamaha system from Musician's Friend & I'm very happy with it. It has a Yamaha EMX 212S head, 2 Yamaha BR12 speakers, 2 Nady mics (58 look-alikes), 2 speaker stands, 2 mic cables, & 2 speaker cables for $765 delivered to my door with a 2-year warranty. Not sure why they didn't add the mic stands as well, but I'll still give it a thumbs up.
