THE GIG THAT NEVER HAPPENED

I was contacted to play with some local guys, got a song list. Lerned some of the songs,was ready to go. was told on friday they would call after 4pm and get together saterday. No one called guess they changed there mind. Better luck next time. PEACE!!!!!

Anyways, yea, it happens quite a lot, especially if you're contact came from the innerwebs. There's a lot of people who think they can host gigs or hook people up, but in the end, they have zero experience with that.
So, yea, keep at it. At least now you know some new songs.

The best part is when you run into them months later through 'the scene' and listening to them fall all overthemselves trying to come up with an excuse... it's priceless.

Happened for me a couple of times already. So far "my cellphone broke and I lost your number" is the most popular one.

You need to get with people who are ORGANIZED. Those obviously aren't the organized ones. I think you're not going to have to wait too long for a gig. Good luck...

Its probably for the best I wasnt to thrilled with the song list. I sent an email to a origanal band last knigt. Somthing will come, I have faith. meanehile I pulled out one of my older recordings and im atemting to write lyrics. may use my condenser mic yet. PEACE!!!!!!
