KingsHead (rock) is currently holding drummer auditions. Our previous drummer left on good terms and was a great musician/percusionist leaving the next drummer for kingshead with large shoes to fill.
Race, gender, class, sexual orientation - NO preference (although must be at least 18).
We are looking for someone that is interested in performing seriously on and off the road. We will be recording and touring very soon.
Must be friendly and open-minded. Formal musical background is preferred (college/high school band, orchestras, jazz bands, etc). We are hard working, and you must be too. No excessive alcohol or drugs (none preferred), must be able to be around non-smokers. Please take auditions very seriously - everything from your time/tempo to your style/attitude will be highly scrutinized.
Some of our influences (in alphabetical order): Deftones, Hot Hot Heat, Mars Volta, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, The Roots, System of a Down, Tool, Vision of Disorder - but of course, we're fans of almost all music, so you must be able to tolerate everything from rap/hip-hop to blues/jazz to hardcore to classic rock.
