First off - We have. I met a guitar guy here recently that plays along and with and around me perfectly. Since meeting him we have almost filled out our little outfit.

I have lots of questions and am still looking for a couple folks however - and just might stick around.

I found a local guitarists right here in my town. The thread “Thanks Bandmix” below, it took a few months for me. I just put up our first song. I think you’re right Sentient, I think quite a few folks hang for a couple of days expecting to simply stumble on a gold nugget, then move on. How many people come here with out even a simply audio clip as example?

I made contact with five other people and did one audition and three workups on songs for people interested via internet. It’s all a learning experience, why not? Although it does take some time and if they are not interested afterwards it’s a waste. Two weren’t that good, just couldn’t get the gist of what they wanted, although one came out ok, but by the time he got back to me I already found someone. Also had an offer that was out of range, it sounded good, but two and a half hours each way, is just too much for me. The collaboration via internet thing is a good idea though. Give me a tune see what I can do with it etc. I don’t have to haul all my crap to audition and if you don’t like what you hear, then you never have to contact me again. No setup, no appointments, no hassle. And in the end you can be fairly certain I know at least that song.
