I heard something pretty funny on the news the other day.

A bunch of kids, who had violated the noise ordinances of some town, went to court. The judge ruled that they had to sit in a locked room listening to Barry Manilow for a long time. Personally, if it were me as the judge, I'd have used a combination of children's song, barking dogs, Boxcar Willie, & opera. Or maybe some of the worst I've sat through at some of the open mics I go to.

Man, I LOVED that story! I get mad as hell whenever I am forced to listen to someone's bass thumping in their car so loudly that MY vehicle starts rattling from the noise!

I fear that one day I'll go over & reach into their car with a handy hammer & bust up their stereo.

God... I love my neighbors.... We push out thousands of watts of sound either every Friday or Saturday night in my basement for rehearsal... In the summertime, all windows are open and have never, ever received a complaint yet.... as a matter of fact, some neighbors actually sit on their front porch with a few brewskies and enjoy the show! Mind you, this isn't a hillbilly neighborhood... definitely upper middle class... just an awesome bucncha neighbors!

Crip, if I lived in your neighborhood, your practices prolly wouldn't bug me at all. It's the damned boom boom shyte in the cars that really gets to me. Yer stuck there in traffic & there's no effin way to escape it. Makes me wanna kill somebuddy every time it happens.

When I was living in the haunted store a few years ago, there'd be this true jerk who drove by & had to stop right in front of the place at the light with his stereo blasting the windows 'til they shook nearly every night, & I'm talking about around 4 AM!!!!

These ppl should be subjected to the very worst that anyone can come up with, aurically ruining them for life!

KIDD - good one, that. He was good for his time, really. Not my thing at all these days, but I can still appreciate a good performance or recording in nearly any style or genre that can't be duplicated by those with no talent.

Aw Phil, I love turning the bass way up til I feel my toes rumbling. It's awesome, but I try not to annoy others... I said I try.

My neighbors dont complain either. (not that I am aware of anyway)

One hot summer eve me n the boys were rockin, my son came in the shop doors (wide open) and said the guy who lives over behind us about 200 yds was sitting in the yard with his wife and the cooler. Drinking beer and bangin his head. :D
