I've got a real modest set up with just a Tascam stand alone digital 8 track, but Ive got lots in the way of guitars and vintage amps and stompboxes, but the few things that I still want would be
1: some condenser mics, like a big one for vocals, and maybe a smaller stereo set for acoustic.
2: An Acoustic 12 string (just have an electric)
3:A Danelectro/Coral electric sitar
4:A Tape Echo
5:A small Leslie cabinet.
That's about all I would really need to be able to get most sounds.
What sort of stuff are the rest of y'all wanting?

I really wanna get my hands on a bass. There was a nice deal for $200. It had a Dean bass and a lil amp. Ah..
I love Dean's stuff. I'd love to try out the electric Dean Angel of Deth (Mustaine), but I'll keep dreaming for now 8)

Dax,
My neighbor has an awesome old Framus 12 string acoustic that I would like to get my hands on, but he won't sell.

I remember those old Coral sitars and can imagine you doin' magic on one if ya had one. I would prefer a real one myself, however.

At one time I had a vintage Guild Copycat tape echo. I loved it at the time, but nowadays I'm content with my midi-verb and the built in FX in my cheap new Behringer mixer.

I also had a small Leslie and found that it just didn't cut it. If you decide that you simply must have one, go for a big old 900. I would be content with a good rotary simulator since I run my keyboards direct in the PA in stereo.

I could use a new mike and a few cables and a drummer and a guitar player and some more time to put the damn thing back together! (I could also use a new power amp for the high ends)

Cin and I thought we would help stimulate the economy a little by buying a new digital camera. I hope to soon start a You Tube account and post some home grown music performances like Neanderpaul does.
If I ever get the band back up and running, I would still like a Bandvista website.

That all for now
Howlin'

I want a good recording set up so I can record each part of our songs independantly (seperate tracks) while we play live. That way I could master the tracks to the levels I want and make the recordings sound the same as what I hear while we play. I need an acoustic guitar.
A couple of extra speakers for the live set up. Oh and some stage lighting to play with, to set the mood of the different songs.
A hundred thousand screaming fans would be cool too.

Wish list...ok...

To play guitar with Tom Petty, John Hiatt, Edgar Winter, Joe Walsh etc...

The cutie that's cashier at the corner grocery - but music would be the furthest thing from my mind :D

Oh...gear list....ok...

Keyboard amp, (that Wurlitzer 200 sitting there sure looks lonesome sometimes)

Bass and small amp

Condensor mic or three

Good mixer that would allow individual tracks at once rather than the one at a time I have to do now, then send it to the computer.

A non-vintage/antique lap steel I can take to gigs, I don't want my 40's Electromuse damaged again.

A good C melody tenor sax

more guitars...No, 9 is not enough....

Here is a thread just waiting to be cussed and discussed.
I reaserch, read, and study on mixers and still cant determine if it will do what I want without buying the darn thing first.
Where's my techy KIDD?
