Contentious is it Sentient?
I dunno? Is it?

Anyone can steal anything if they want to and they can play anything of the likes that you and I can produce too.

I posted something on this a little while back, I'm glad its still there.

I think any true musican would not do this. Its never entered my mind? Those who would are not the kind of people who are likey to succeed for very long anyway.Id say most on here know how to "steal" if they wanted to, So lets be REALISTIC about that.Ive been on this board since 2005 and havent heard of an incident yet.

if they really want the song they can just record it from their speakers.

If you have copyrites to your music you are good to go, if someone steals your song, someone said it on a similar thread, I'll just wait till you get famous with my song and then I'll sue the pants off of you. :D

Don't really give a rat's ass. Steal all you want from me. If you make money off any of it send me some fishing lures or golf discs or something. Chances are I'm not going to get rich off it so if you get rich off it more power to you. Later...

I only have two selections on my profile at the moment.

One is an original from about 1980 that was featured on a regional band contest compilation album sponsored by a local A.O.R. radio station and Strolls beer.Ten songs were selected out of about 800 entries. For that reason it is already copy written. Neanderpaul could hear the pops and scratches in the vinyl. Any of you may download it and work it out if you wanna because that's what songs are for. I got enough mileage out of it and would consider it an honer if any of you performed any of my compositions.

The other song is a rough version of an old Otis Redding cover recorded earlier this year at band practice on a mini disk recorder with one cheesy mike. ( Sorry to say, The Gin House Rockers are down to just my son on bass and myself so we're once again on vacation. ) As far as "I've Been Loving You" goes, Otis is long gone so he shur'nuff don't care if any of us cover it!

I don't worry at all about "song stealin', just keep yo hands of of my instruments, tools, guns, records, and wife! (I will, however be glad to share a Guinness with ya'll. :D )
