I joined this site in hopes to finding the most talented female musicians for my band. I'm from the Washington DC area and would love to hear from serious inquires only.

Welcome to the forum. If I may, I'd like to offer you some hopefully useful tips -

1.) Put up some recording of your work to attract like-minded players who are into what you're doing.

2.) Don't be so sexist! Men can play well, too!

3.) Fill out your profile a bit to show your musical influences & personal perferences, & what sort of equipment you have.

4.) Tell ppl what instrument you play, if any.

Get these together, & you're more likely to find that which you seek.

Get busy and flesh it out some or no one will take you serious.

Ditto that. The more info up on your profile the better. Good luck in your search. Three of our four band members are Bandmix members. Works for me. Plus this forum is fun.
