When you grow up you'll see how wrong that statement was. Yes the end is here. Of illegitimate war. Of shipping jobs overseas. Of America divided by outdated beliefs. Of people living without healthcare. The list goes on.

Well I agree with Jimmy: you're wrong, but I don't agree with his justification.
The U.S. has been screwed for longer than you can imagine.

Poor Palin goes back to losing at the hockey rinks 8)
On the bright side, we'll see more of Biden, which is an excellent thing.

Run for the hills! Hide your wimmen! Save yer money in a jar & bury it in the yard! Buy as many guns as you can before it's too late cuz the godless swarms of furriners are a-comin' to take us over sooner than you think!

LOLOLOL

I only hope & pray that this new administration stops selling our gov't & our jobs out to foreign interests, & starts rebuilding the American infrastructure with an American work force, while making plans to catch up with the rest of the world on education & energy & ecology issues, & assuring the continuance of the middle class instead of constantly appeasing the rich & the corporate interests. I don't really think it'll be that different, though, in the long run, in spite of the fears of the far right.

if your in the wealthiest country in the world and have to pay for education and healthcare. you are part of a "Barbarian Nation"

the best way to judge a society is by how it treats its elderly, its veterans, and its indigent or helpless citizens.
how do you think we rate?

So are Lincoln, FDR, & JFK, for that matter.

The best way to judge a society is by how many women of that society pay attention to me.
Since no one here really knows me or what goes on in my life, I guess you'll all just have to speculate.

I would 'buy as many guns as I can', but I need you to redistribute some of your money to me phil, before I can do that.

LOL

Good luck with that, Zip! I can't even redistribute it to my creditors, these days.

Well spoken.

We don't know squat whether we're screwed or not. The nation has spoken and we have to give the new administration a chance to do its job. Are we going to immediately start the campaign for President 2012? This damn campaign was long enough. They should only have ONE year to announce their candidacy, have all the primaries, convention and general election. They also should have a set amount or maximum amount of money they can spend on the campaign. I've never seen and heard so many friggin ads before. Even though I voted I wasn't happy whatsoever with either candidate. One was too old and the other way too inexperienced. It would have been better if Biden was running against Palin and Obama and McCain were the vice-presidential candidates. I don't think ANY President can un-mess the situation we're in. Later...

Total agreeance. I did not vote, my sister did though, for Obama. I felt Biden should have been the presidential candidate, then I would have automatically voted without a thought placed into it.

Obama seems good so far, so I will be patient and just hope he does right by the country. McCain is a good man, I just do not care for his political stances.

I also felt they spent way too much money on campaigning and agree there should be caps of some form.

This election was so drawn out, I could not get away from the subject no matter where I went, drove me a bit nutty, Lol.

Rough situation all in all.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.
