Anyone know of a good software for doing this? I want to remove the vocals, keep the quality of the music and add our guitar and vocals for doing some cover songs.

Any help would be awesome.

Oh, you wanna do some karaoke! Just get the karaoke CD's.

LOL

Sorry, I dunno anything about such software, but I love to post my stupid opinions on just about any subject. I hope there's someone here who can help you.

Welcome to the forum, Alex.

You could use the tracks at http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/ ,you can download them in Mp3 format for free.
That's how i did some of my tracks, mine don't sound to good mainly because i used a microphone that's only meant for talking online,so i didn't care to try too hard.
