Hey Gang,

Every engineer ya talk to has a diff app. to how they arrive at the their final mix.Ive read several tuts and still have a hard time getting fequencys I DONT want OUT and the ones I wanna keep to stay in..You oughta see my parametric.Im notching super narrow bands and still hear that ole muddy 200HZ or canny 1KHZ..AAANNNDD if thats not bad enough, have you guys notice how different your tunes sound on the bandmix player vrs MYSPACE???.Its a forever guessing game on which mix is best ..Just wondering if any of ya have spectum analying software or other method you use to tell what feq's are needed and over ones that are gonna cuase probs after goingdown to stereo...Digital sampling is a LIAR. What you hear, isnt always what ya get, especially after going down to MP3...Now I know I ASK for crappy vocals becuase I use alotta FX going in BUT,(I really suck without it . ) but that doesnt account for the ever changing results..Yeah , WE NEED SOMETHING to show how all the pieces of the "sonic pie" are coming together while its still in multi track mode AND after its down to 2 TRK..Anyone know of ANYTHING that will show or analyze your mix ? Maybe even tell ya what ya need , dont want???....
