I just gave away an Ampeg B12 for the simple reason that after 30 years of owning it off and on (long story) I simply couldn't lift it anymore! Darn thing is a boat anchor.

Great sound though.

Dane

I had a Thunderbird bass similar to yours back in the day. My brother played lead on a Firebird. We thought we were pretty cool! 8)

We ended up selling most of our instruments to pay for silly stuff like food and gas.

I eat better these days but don't have as much fun.

That's why I sold off my 2x12 Fender Bandmaster cabinet 2 years ago - at 90 lbs, no casters, just those vinyl handles, it was no fun to move. Even the Bandmaster head weighed more by itself than my new combo amp.
I would have had to spend about $120 to update all the tubes in the Bandmaster to get it back in good shape, and it still would not have had the overall volume that the combo has.

You have to have them at a site like photobucket, then you post the link/embed code.
