I usual​ly keep the dicti​onary​ FAR FAR AWAY from the roadi​es!​ If they reali​zed that loadi​ng equip​ment was their​ sole job descr​iptio​n,​ and NOT all the other​ stuff​ we get them to do, well,​ we'd be in big troub​le!​ LOL.​.​


So, yes.​.​.​ Roadi​es load our equip​ment,​ so.​.​.​


Payto​n can ride to gigs on his Harle​y.​.​.​



And Gary and Lee can chill​ befor​e the gig.​.​.​




The band gets to play in prett​y light​s,​ laser​s and smoke​.​.​.​





Peopl​e are alway​s filmi​ng us and takin​g our pictu​re.​.​.​




Chick​s alway​s seem to dance​ onsta​ge for us.​.​.​




But our roadi​es have fun too. Somet​imes,​ for examp​le,​ we may have a fan who looks​ in need of a lap dance​.​ We'​re alrea​dy playi​ng our axes to the girls​ onsta​ge.​ What'​s a band to do?

Never used roadies, myself, but my drummer had this pair of twins that managed to be pure gold for his band. He tells me they could get anything that they needed, anytime, anywhere. Busted G string at 11 PM on a Sunday night in Plunktown, NJ? No prob. 15 minutes & there they were with it. THings were great until the night they decided to load up a frikken PIANO from the basement of a hotel they were playing. They snuck it into the truck & had everything rearranged so no one knew about it until it was time to unload at the next gig! Yeah, they thought they were doing the band a favor!

One of my lead guitarists had his wife at that gig (another Bike Rally) and she took those pics and gave them to me on CD. I didn't know she had gotten pics of the Roadie Lap Dances, and when I saw them I cracked the f*ck up!

Thought I'd start everyone's day off with a laugh.

But in all seriousness. Those guys are awesome. They do it out of love for our music. Now that we are doing mostly paying gigs, we can give them a monetary "thank you" more often, which they certainly deserve. They make our jobs MUCH easier.

Whats up with the roadies?

We are up there sweatin our asses off and they always have to pull their shirts up and flash everyone. When we load out is when the crazy stuff happens with the crew, of course I really dont know what they do while we are playing. As long as the lights, sound and cameras are rollin I dont care.

Oh yeah, Capt is responsible for the wig. He made a comment on here a few monthes ago that I should get a wig. I was joking with some of our friends and for my birthday they gave me some new "HAIR". I dont know when you will see me with it on, but who knows?

Its really a wonder I didnt put it on sat night.

Well, they're spoiling us. But it sure makes the night a little easier. But it's still a labor of love mostly for them. You guys probably have some fans that wouldn't mind stepping up and being a part of the act.

Just kidding brother. It seems like ALOT of people on here though, are finding situations and turning corners lately. That's awesome. It inspires all of us to try harder and to accomplish more.

If we play up your way (which we will) and it is a Biker Rally or something with alot of people, how would you feel about me trying to get your band in on the bill?

We have a really good relationship with the founder of http://www.bestofbands.com, which is based in New York, and she is always trying to find a way to get us up there to play.
