Geez Steve, those guys are awful vulgar, and look like sissys.
Aint my thing at all.
I aint perfect for sure and am prone to fits of oilpatch vulgarity when I'm pisssed. But thats just uncalled for. It in know way promotes music.
And why would a guy with the physique and muscle tone of a ten year old girl shred his shirt? If thats what women these days think is sexy, I am glad I'm an old man.

Well i'm not a fan of the 80's "Hair" band era either, but i like the fact that these guys do an admiral job at mocking the styles and sterotypes.lol, yeah they are, those vulgar abilities somehow always get a packed house and guest duos with people like, Tom Morello, David Bryan,Scott Ian,Perry Farrell,Kelly Clarkson, Dave Draiman,RZA from the Wu,Jessica Simpson, lol,Jerry Cantrell,Pink,Phil Anselmo,Hal Sparks and others. But there a parody band like Spinal Tap..except there really good musicians...they just know how to have a good time...and i can assure you that there shows are 18+.

I,m dont think I know any of those people you listed Steve, cept I've heard of that Simplton simpson broad before. Parody band, I guess I got turned off too soon to figure that part out.
I heard some guys in a bar in Slidel La. talking about paying to see an air band once. So I guess what people will pay to do just dont impress me anymore.
I aint knockin you Stev-o, your a grown man. You can get your kicks anyway you like. I am just not impressed. But thats the beauty of free will. Aint it my man .

OK the rebel yell cover with achy breaky rocked out. They do a convincing take on the worst elements of he 80's. It is forgettable. They are foul. The 80's had some great music. the pixies, and minor threat for instance.

lol,I didn't think anybody was knocking anyone Sans, but those people i mentioned are some of the artist that pay to see there shows and jam were:
Tom Morello-(Guitarist/Rage Against the Machine)
David Bryan-(Keyboardist/Bon Jovi)
Scott Ian-(Guitarist/Anthrax)
Perry Farrell-(Lead singer/Jane's Addiction)
Dave Draiman-(Lead singer/Disturbed)
Jerry Cantrell-(Lead Guitarist/Lyricist/Alice In Chains)
Phil Anselmo-(Lead singer/Pantera)
RZA-(Lyricist/Wu-Tang Clan).
Neanderpaul,i wasn't meaning the 80's were just Hair Bands, under all that hairspray and lipgloss, there were great artist,Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers,Misfits,Bad Brains, etc. They are foul, but just for those people that prefer to hear words not sugar coated.

my point was that if you were paying homage why not pick a cool genre?

Dang, they fool around too much!!! What I heard was good. Billy Ray was cool-Mylie should be proud of her daddy. Kelly Clarkson could have gone to the moon with her voice if the band didn't spend the whole time, that she was on stage, trying to "F" her.

I'll give you Anselmo (unbelievable scream/growl powerhouse set after set), Cantrell (for his signature riffs + talk box, heaviness and excellent lyrics) and Morello (for his -let's just say- unique style and funkiness), but the rest is nowhere near the 3 mentioned.
