I uploaded my latest vid to youtube and left the house before it was finished so I don't have a link. So if you would like to see/hear it (here's hoping  ) just copy what is in quotes and enter it into youtube search. Youtube is blocked at my work so I can't post the link. I know it posted because I already got a comment.

"let's run away - neanderpaul"

If somebody wants to add the link that would be great!

You're quite welcome, Paul. You seem to have a fascination with the musical styles of the early '60's with some of the looping & recordings I've seen. It's great fun. Man I like your voice.

I will take a 60's comparison anyday. I rarely think about going for a sound. I didn't on this one either. Is there somebody from the sixties you think of or is it just the sound of the era in general? Thanks for the compliment on my vox and I really appreciate you checking out my vids! I have been at my new job for a month and have turned on half a dozen people to my vids. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback. Today the computer guru came in hurling explitives in praise! He loops with a looper and samples. he really went on and on. He said I inspired him to get back at it. I gotta admit it made me feel great. :D

I think it's that "Last Kiss" kind of chord progression I hear from you. Those progressions were very popular in the late '50's early '60's in everything from Chess Records to Motown to mainstream pop rock like Ricky Nelson & Fabian & lots of others.

G Em C D or C Am F G kinds of things, with variations occasionally.

Just out of curiousity, how many seconds can you loop? Does it change with the amount of overdubs? In other words, can you do a loop that's a full minute, & if so, does that time decrease as you add in a lot of other instruments later?

Cool, I can see that now. The looper I use has up to 5 1/2 minutes of recording time. You can do a loop from just a few seconds on up to 5 1/2 minutes. You can do infinite overdubs. The first "tracks" will fade if enough tracks are added. Mine is old. The new version of my RC-20 is called an RC-20 XL. It has 16 1/2 minutes of loop time. The problem with doing longer loops is the total song time get's way too long really quickly. In non looped songs I like to write songs around 3 - 4 minutes. I try really hard to keep a looped song under 5 minutes. They often get to 6. I reworked "let's run away" from 7 down to 6 minutes. There is also the RC-50 which is like 3 rc-20's in one big pedal, the rc-2 which is similar the the original RC-20 but smaller, there is the digitech jamman, and the boomerang as well.
