We've all done it, let great guitars go. I have three that make me wish I could go back in time and punch myself in the head before I sold them
1. A late 60s cherry SG special with a stop tailpiece. Mmmm, Live At Leeds!
2. An original Telecaster Custom...sunburst with binding, rosewood fretboard.
3. A "one off" 60s Gibson 335 with a custom ordered ebony fretboard, FAST!
What have the rest of y'all really regretted getting rid of?

A 1964 Vox 12-string. I gave it to a girl to impress her when I was right out of high school. I was a real tool. I don't even know if she ever played it. That was my 1st acoustic. Nice axe, as I remember it.
Sandy, if you're out there, I'd like it back.
Please?

I can't let anything go. Except one time I traded an acoustic for my first electric. No biggie. I'm a pack rat.

A natural finish '72 Strat that I learned to play on. Money got tight and I sold it for $200 to pay rent. Years later I bought another '72 Strat that I still have (the one in my pictures).

A sigma Dm acoustic..
It sounded like a tin can, though..lol
AND a crate G1500 double stack, but that thing was CRAP!
I never get rid of any effects, any pa stuff and any cabs/heads that are even halfway decent.
I still have my first Hamer Flying V and My old Ibanez RG550 in florescent orange.

Too funny, I SOLD the 335 to get a natural finish Strat because I was in my Ritchie Blackmore phase. That Strat was just the biggest turd of a guitar I ever owned, and I sold the best I ever owned to get it
