Not only the horrors committed on 9-11, but also the unity of Americans directly after that dark day, when we remembered, that black or white, Republicans or Democrats, rich or poor.... we were Americans first!

Let Us Not Ever Forget

Thanks for the reminder. I never know the date. I dressed appropriately thanks to your posting.

I will never, EVER, forget that day. Now I know how my parents feel when they say they remember the day JFK was killed. I remember that whole day in September from the first news (was at work and got it from one of my co-workers when she came in) to going home after work and watching it on TV. All those poor innocent people. I have visited ground zero in NYC several times, and each time I have been moved to tears.
