Jimmy Page: Olympics...No Chinese Soundmen?
Posted: Wed Aug 27, 2008 2:57 amI will never have anything bad to say about this guy. His studio solos still blow me away, and his so called "rip off" of blues classics? Whole Lotta Love had a lot more to do with Plant mimicking Steve Marriott than Page stealing from Willie Dixon. That being said, what the heck was going on in Beijing the other night? The only time I've heard him actually try to play the solo from the album it sounded like the live feed was coming from a microphone in the boiler room underneath the stadium!
