Band tryout tomorrow, wish me luck

I got a tryout tomorrow with a band. I found them on craigslist, and their ad said they were looking for a vocalist in the style of TDWP, As I Lay Dying, and Parkway Drive...And I was like "THOSE ARE MY THREE FAVORITE BANDS!"
But anyway, I talked to the dude for awhile and he said I sounded just like what they were looking for. So he asked me to come by and jam with them tomorrow...So wish me luck, guys!

It's rare to find a band that plays your favorite artists. If this band does a good job playing those artists then it should be a natural fit for you. Hope everything comes together just right for you. Looking forward to your posting some of your new recordings with this new band on your profile page. Later...

Congrats!! ..Yeah , maybe these boys will have a way you can put some audio up soon..Maybe tape (listen me .."Tape"
) record a practice..Ive been wantin to put a voice with that face for a long time...

Well, right now we just have the 2 guitars, drums, and vox...We still need to find a bass player and a keys/synth/background vox guy. Shouldn't be too hard to find...

It's still workin out great, but we've hit a little problem...My vocal amp isn't powerful enough to be heard over the other instruments...They can barely hear me...and my amp doesn't go any louder...
Now, I don't have money for a new amp/pa system...so for now I'm screaming at the top of my lungs and it's killing my throat...

Hey Ryan,
Had the same prob yrs ago..Ya might try to "line out" of your amp into the input/inputs of one or more of the others amps..Especially if they, and /or you, have 2 seperate channels..Watch your gains while your doing this.. Dont send to large of an output signal to the other amps (it will prolly distort if ya do).. If yall need help, tell us of the input /output configs of yours and the other amps and we can go from there...

Way to go RYAN,
I to have had a lot of luck on Craigs List, mainly selling and buying gear.
All I can say is dont shut any doors in music you never know what might come your way and you never know if you are burning a bridge down by your actions.
Get out there and kick some tail with your new band!!!!!!
