new invention: electric guitar semi-solid body

Hey! That's right! It's happening in Canada! Yes, one of those Watts! I have a patentable new semi-solid body that allows string vibration through the pickups, creating a new softer lower volume level feedback, with full blast still there. More harmonic response, more tone and more neck feel. That's where it's at. Using a Strat shape? Being a lefty? Jimi! Jimi! no, no, I can't, you listen... john@johnwatt.ca

If you can hear the feedback while you're playing, then you need to tweak something :?
I'm not sure what your point is.

I think perhaps he shoulda put that out in his local newspaper...I don't know & I don't particularly care about American politics, let alone those American-wannabes up north! (Sorry, Andrew! Gotta get my kicks in when I can...LOL)

This obviously has nothing to do with music, in any case...so don't bother looking if you're reading this. It's just a waste of time.

I had thought it might be a twisted up semi-hollow body axe or something.

Big disappointment.

In the future, JWatt, please don't bother. We don't care. If I were gonna bother to contact you, it would be just to say "YOU SUCK!"

My spider sense told me not to visit the link.

Glad I listened to it.

hahaha Phil, do I have to send you your meds by special mail?
Doc said you gotta take em regularly. :P
You have no right (not even constitutional) to talk bout that after keeping this trippin' fool in the office for 8 years. That truly made history. Say what? You didn't vote for him? It was all set up? Sure :D
Even though Harper is a dickhead, I sure am proud, glad and thankful I'm Canadian.

You're right as rain, Andrew (whetever the hell that means!) & yeah, it's true - I DIDN'T vote for GW. Neither did the majority, back in 20-double-ought.

Still...while you may have more pristene areas than we do, & better beer, for the most part, &...&...hmmm...maybe I should consider bein' a canuckian after all?

I can say "eh" with the best of them, eh? Do ya think I'd fit in? EH?

Oh, wait a sec! WE have beaches & the warmish weather to actually ENJOY them! (Of course they're kinda rare here in West [ by GAWD!] Virginia...the hell with it...I'm gonna take out my canoe & fish!)

Oh yeah, I'd try to get meds from Canada if they could only match the fantastic prices I get down in Mexico!

It's all the same now, Phil. Our summers are becoming hotter and hotter every year, but kinda bearable. And the winters... well, they're the same.. it's a love/hate thing.
Oh and no one.. I mean NO ONE.. says eh better than the folks from the land up above. Mexican meds haha.. yea that works too. Hey, you got Detroit.. can't ask for better/affordable puff (where's the thumbs up icon?)

Sentient, nice! I don't like the Hip's music, but I guess it's good stuff ya know?
There's a whole big ass thread on Canadian musicians (with lists) in the Canada section.

Okay back to topic... what was it again? 8)

Philby,
Cin and I were sitting around the ol' chiminea fire the other night after a hard day of pouring and trowling a section of concrete radiant heat floor in our new house, quaffing a couple of brewskies.
Imagine my surprise when , after reading the fine print on my bottle of "Guinness Extra Stout", I discovered that my favorite Irish beer was imported from Canada!

We truly do live in a global economy.
