well the Fund In The Sun Music Festival In Charleston W. Virginia has turned out to be legit and should be a blast. I just found out that Confederate Railroad is the Headliner and there will be 2 Regional Headliner's. Its in a downtown park with 12,000 capacity. I got the 3:30 slot which at a Sunday Festival should be a good slot. they're even putting all of the ticket's in a raffle for a new car and a new bike! I put together a good solid 6 piece band for the show.
I hope you guys from the Charleston area will come and support me or throw beer at me or something.

6 piece band, eh? Last 6 piece I was in had a washboard player. You got one of those? If not you should definitely get one. Get yourself a lil 5 foot nuthin girl who won't help carry anything who just drags her thimble-coated fingertips over it & make that raspy sound at all the strangest places. It'll be great. You'll see! It's just what that last blues guy did in his band when I was in it. You'll start up a lot of conversations, anyway. They usually start off with - "WHY are you using that washboard player?"

Wish I coulda committed to doing this one, as I love playing these things.
