Got your message, I'm on a free account so I don't think I can send a reply, but you check the forums all the time so I'm sure you'll see this.

I'll have to listen to see what you're talking about, we can kick ideas around here. It's in open G, so I'll have to figure out what the keys are, I've never even tried to transpose them when I'm playing open tuning, I just play by ear anyway.Hell, I don't know the names of half the chords I play in standard tuning...

Anyway I'll listen then check in here later on, gotta go to work now, see ya.

Open G huh?
You should be able to reply to my messages with a free account.
I'll double check my notion and get back to ya.

I've found that, with a free account, you can respond to an email - ONCE.

Just so's ya know.

I've tried to email joseph6, after he'd sent me a coupla nice emails back in March, but it won't let me, either cuz I already responded once, or cuz too much time has slipped by.

Things are still abit tight for me to join up, cuz from what I hear you don't just do it for a month - it's a forever thing. I'm not ready for that kind of commitment yet...LOL

(this thought comes from the guy who wanted to unsubscribe but couldn't figure out how, in another thread I read - personally, I'd just have the bank stop all payments, but perhaps I'm being too logical or naive)

Nah... just turn off the auto-renewal thingy-maJig, and the paid part should go away when it's time for more money.

OK I tried it. Looks like it sent, but I'll put it here too just in case.

I've been working on o ne similar, Em-C-G-D with a capo so it's actually in G. Have a lot of the instrumentation in my head, have to try and get a couple of guys here to do some tracks on bass and drums, or I might do the bass, the drummer has a bass rig I can use. Just have to work around their schedules, which are pretty full so it'll take some time.

The one I mentioned making something with though was Gain Doodles 2, Silhouette is already a complete song. I do need to record it again though and get rid of the clipping in a few places. Would like a better overall sound too, I'm planning to wait till I get new strings though. I'm playing on 3 month old .011's, want to switch to .012's next time and see if it might play a little better, I'm getting some slight string buzz in a couple of places with the .011's. Have to watch how hard I play or it slaps the frets on attack, even fingerpicking.

I'll tinker with your suggestion, you never know what will pop out when I just sit there and doodle.

Are you looking for clean, acoustic, raunch or what? Upbeat, laid back, all out rock, bluesy???
