B'ham Al. Guitarist(s)
Posted: Mon Jul 21, 2008 8:45 pmA working band in the B'ham area needs an enthusiastic, somewhat experienced guitarist. We play most weekends in busy clubs. All mainstream rock from 80's to current. Bon Jovi to Greenday. This is a very fun, even comical, act that understands the importance of crowd interaction, repeat bookings, name recognition, etc. We have great P.A., great practice room, a promoter, recording studio. The drummer & bassist have nearly 50 years combined STAGE experience.
Our ideal candidate is:
1. A drama-free happy enthusiastic person.
2. Able to be at practice, set up, tear down, etc as needed.
3. Able to learn songs fast.(Maybe 5/week)
4. Will be the only guitarist in the band.
5. Sing some backing vocal.(Some lead would be a plus)
We're not looking for the worlds greatest guitarist. We're looking for a great person who plays well, supports the song and the act, looks decent on stage, wants to get paid for having some real fun. In return you get to step into a band that's focused, equiped, and booked. I would very much appreciate your help in passing this on to possible applicants. Thanks.
