I can't hear me, can you?

I have a small favor to ask.
I have some songs posted on OurStage - one I uploaded in March and was able to hear back then, the rest uploaded in the past few days and which I can't hear at all. I'd like someone else to try to play them and tell me whether they can.
Just go to OurStage.com and search for "peck". I'm not asking you to listen to them; just see if you can get them to play. Thanks.

Seemed to work fine for me. Sounds like your PC.

Thanks, Mr Danger. Thanks for your help.
I've notified OurStage tech support, and they had me log out and close the browser, then open a new one. But, of course, that didn't solve the problem.
I can't undersand why it doesn't work now, when it worked before.

Hey Rick,
Yeah , your post gain is down a bit according to my DB meters..Im gettin -6 on ya , Like to see ya hoverin around 0..BUT, its smoooth as silk on Jello Him..Good tune BTW..Ya need a hotter preamp signal ratio...Allotta machines will let ya be in the red during recording, and often times wont clip on play back , especially when its compressed down to Mp3..So dont be afraid to heat it up a bit..OH ..PS , if ya cant , and thats as hot as the input will go then send it to me and Ill heat it up for ya ..

KIDD. Thanks for coming to my aid. I spent a little time with the Peachpit Series GarageBand Manual and found out what a volume control does. If you have time, check out Walk Awhile . . . and Jello, Him. I suspect the level is in the "normal" range now.
Now, what this about a flute?

Hey Rick,
Are ya sure ya changed Jello Jim?..Im still gettin -6???..NOW, Walk Awhile, ya over did it alittle..

...Yeah , IMO, you were exciting some bad feqencies that didnt have to be there..Iwas gettin +3 and even 6 in places, almost distorting/clipping..The high mids were brash, not smooth anymore...SO, back your input vol (pre gain) down about 2-3 db (dont do it in windows if ya dont have to)..Its better to be a tiny bit low in the mix than high becuase you'll want that "Head room" to go up in the final mix..Now I know your just doing one track (right?) but it would be a good habit to get into...

Fabulous, KIDD. Your comments are a tremendous help, for I still cannot cause any of the cuts on OurStage to play.
I thought I changed Jello, Jim. Maybe I replaced the one I withdrew with itself. Your comments are helping me to dial in an optimum level, though. I should be even closer with the next song, thanks to you.
Help, please

If someone would be kind enough to send me the URL to one of the songs posted on OurStage, I might be able to use the syntax to locate and listen to stuff myself. Thanks.

Hey Rick,
Im confused??..Can you not access the site? Not sure what you mean by your last post BUT, here is the link to Jello Jim ....
http://www.ourstage.com/music/channel/1 ... -jello-him
I see that it has only 6 plays so its obviously a new upload..BUT, as of 7-21-08 at 12:45 PM EDT, its still -6 DB level.

What I mean is I am unable to listen to anything posted on OurStage. If I click on a play button, the little window opens, as if the selection is going to play, but nothing loads into the window.
It looked as though the URL was loading, all except for the song title at the end. So I thought pasting it in manually might help. It didn't.
I notified OurStage tech support twice last week. They responded to the first message with the standard ". . . close and re-open your browser . . ."-type message, which did not solve the problem. And they acknowledged receipt of my response to their first suggestion, but they haven't offered a fix.
I appreciate your sending me the URL. I'm baffled as to why it won't work. It used to.

Coincidentally, I now get an error message every time the computer boots up, saying, "iDisk Error. There is a problem deleting the file 'About your iDisk.rtf'. You do not have permission to delete this file. You can check your permissions is the Info window in the Finder."
I don't recall ever having tried to delete my "About your iDisk.rtf" file.

I don't think the problem is with my computer. I can play audio and video on other sites.
