Hey guys,

Seeing as there seems to be a fair amount of ‘on-the-up’ musicians in this community, I thought this website may be of use to you all.

I can understand some of you may think of this as spam, but please, give it a chance first.

We are in the process of launching our new music community. We call it MUZU TV.

This site offers signed and unsigned acts/bands a platform to engage more closely with their fans by creating their own TV channel featuring playlists of music videos, interviews, documentaries, live footage etc - and the fans can also add their own video content directly to the artist's channel. The channel's TV player is embeddable and can be added to the artist's official website, social network profiles, blogs etc. Importantly, MUZU TV is ad funded and we share revenue with all music makers, as well as making sure any copyright is protected. This is a music TV network with a sense of fairness. We believe everyone deserves a slice of the pie.

We'd love you to come in and have a look around - and if you like what you see – why not give us a try?

Thanks for your time.

Sounds like a cool idea but I'm not sure just what it is you are doing.

Hi Sanshouheil / Andragon.

Sorry it’s taken a while to respond.

Just to clarify on the points you both raised .

Firstly all musicians rights are protected on MUZU TV as we have signed agreements in place with major collection agencies.

So far as revenues are concerned – it’s simply income from advertising. The ads are served on artists pages and also through in-stream advertising served with video content broadcast through an embeddable video player that is unique to each act. Effectively this player is an artists own TV channel.

Artists can load any video content they have rights to into their own channel - videos, backstage footage, studio sessions, tour diaries etc

Additionally fans can upload their own videos to artists pages in a Fan TV channel and there’s loads of other functionality besides.

Hope that helps – any more questions – please shout.

By the way - The site has just come out of closed BETA yesterday July 14th (although strictly speaking it’s still actually in BETA prior to full launch).
