WHATS THE TRICK TO UPLOADING A MP3 RECORDED ON A TASCAM DR-1

I'm not sure bout the Tascam (sounds like a misspelling of The Scam ), but if you have an mp3 copy on your hard disk, you can upload it on this site.
Go to My Account, then click on Manage Audio/Video. And it pretty much tells you what to do there.

Older Tascams are tough.. I had a computer pro over my house once.. Even he couldn't figure out how to get one of my songs on a computer. It had the USB, and a memory card, but it just refused to work..We couldn't even get the flash card to upload. It was kind of funny to see him get stumped, 'cause he kind of made me feel stupid for not being able to do it at first.

The model I had has since been discontinued, and that may have been why.
