Good Luck getting back into it, try posting on the Memphis Craigslist also, Ive gotten a lot more calls for adds over there than here. The Guitar Center at Wolfchase has a pretty good bulletin board in the back by the restrooms. Also if you want to play live, just go out and talk to some of the bands that are playing around town whereever you think you might want to play. Over north of you is RJs and Errols. Errols is real slow right now. Flashbacks in Bartlett is the most happening club in the area that Ive been to in the last 6 monthes. It seems recesion proof. You might place an add in the Memphis Flyer, Ive had some good responses out of that, it is not free anymore, so you need to make sure you are really serious. Most of the players in local bands that play out a lot are real nice and might be able to refer you to someone needed your services.
Holler back at me if you need any help. Im currently playing in a group called Aint Yo Mama and another one called Strange Hombres.
