Well, It seems as though in my area when you reach a certain age, nobody, and I do mean nobody, wants you to play in they'er band. I have had bands as well as, certain establishments, hire me over the telephone. But, when I show-up, you can see it all over they'er faces and actions...... Dam, this is an old guy ! :o
SOooo, I am NOW a "solo" musician. Occassionally I locate a captive audience, nail down a Restaurant/Lounge gig 8)
I have also observed, age doesn't seem to matter wth "Bluegrass Bands".

I can sympathize......
My chronological age is about 30 years older
than my immature psychological one.
Any Sex-Drugs and Rock 'n Roll type stuff for me
usually comes from South Park re-runs.

Hey Oldtimer,

Hey man I really enjoyed your page..Man , flashback city... I worked with a Cat 6 yrs on the road 77- 83 who sounded ALOT like you..Prolly around your age now too..Yeah, alotta the material we were doing THEN was considered oldies.. ..You remind me of Ernie in Chicago back in 89.He was WAY ahead of his time.He got tired of doing the sequencer one man band thing and hired ME and we had a blast doin private partys, resorts, golf country clubs etc. He kicked LH bass on an ARP AXE or ODDESY and jammed his ass off on B3, Sax, Piano etc...Hell, get ya a good drummer thats played everthing from the 30's thru 80 or so and get cookin..If I lived closer, we'd do it ..Take care of your self so you can be singin like that 20 yrs from now.. Alotta Cats 20+ my senior I know have already blown their tubes...

Yeah , like everyones sayin , post some MP3 of that classic material..

John

hey dude you sound good, your voice sounds like "experience galore"
music has no age boundries, look at johnny lang then look at bb king same music generations apart, don't matter you sound good.........
suggest you get one of yamaha's PSR workstations for live performance
those keys have everything on board, the whole band and a harmonizer.
