Hey Rocker,
Jon,here, from EXIT 20,classic rock band.I've been drumming since 10 which puts me at 44 years of drumming experience.Check the band's website at www.exit20.altpro.net
I have no ego hangups so I don't put myself as the best drummer but yet a talented one.Must be doing something right for others to want me as part of their group.I beat on a 5-piece Pulse kit, with Remo pinstripe heads.I use 14" hi-hats,10"splash,14"med.crash,16"med.crash and 20"ride,all Zildgian ZXT brand.I use a 6-piece CAD miking system when needed.

Are youre ZXTs titamium? There is a really nice set of them at my local music store. Do you play any other instruments? I think im gonna get a bass guitare, a real nice Explorer. I use a 5 peice percussion pluss  with a 14" Sabian high hat, standard EVANS Genera g2 heads(toms and bass) but am still stuck w/ a crappy 16" starter crash, cracked twice since yesterday (linkin park music tends to do that). But WOW dude 44 years :?: :!: :?: :!: Dude that is dedication right there. I bet ur past playin in a garage. I dont no about werever u are but its HOT down here in TEXAS. Nice talkin to ya. Later dude

Be sure to check our website,if you haven't already, and you will see the long haired(grey)drummer.I have the regular ZXT's.I understand the titaniums are hard to replace as they have or will be taking them off the market. You can get a glimpse of my set also from the website on our pics link.I'm up in New York state, where the leaves will start turning next month....Short summer..... My stint with Exit 20 is the first band I've been in doing the bar scene.Back in the 80's,I was offered an audition with Three Dog Night and Kansas but passed it up as I was on one of many sabaticals from playing.I'm currently waiting on a call to head to Nasville before the years end.Its a touring band.In the mean time I'm trying to push this local band beyond its limits with the help of my past experiences..........

Hey Mike,
Go through our website again and go into our guestbook link and leave your email address and I'll stay in touch. As you probably know by checking our gig schedule we are quite busy. After this past weekend we now have to hurry and change our song list for next weekend.I'd be more than happy to send a press packet to anyone who might be interested in seeing how much attention EXIT 20 has generated.Once again, send me addresses via our website. As they say,my 5 minutes to fame was in the 80's which I passed up but I always believe there is a reason for everything happening when it does..............

Jon

P.S.
I moved up north from Ft.Lauderdale 8 years ago.

Its funny you mention about drummers talking.EXIT 20 played at a community family day event yesterday and during our performance we had to thank the numerous sponsors. Our front man didn't feel in the mood so they gave me a mike to do all the announcing and when the time came I was half way through the list when everyone realized my mike wasn't on so once they turned it on my comment was:They don't like the drummer to talk!!!!Believe me when I say we have plenty to say so its best not to keep us bottled up for too long or we might say something you don't want to hear 8)

Hey rocker,
I'm sure you'd rather hear from a bassist but its been a while since we connected so I just wanted to stop by and update you on my personal trials and tribulations.I'm leaving my band,EXIT 20,as of Sept.16.Not into drugs and excessive alcohol.SORRY!!!!!Trying to reorganize but it's also getting close for me to head to Nashville to join up with the Jackson Deerfield band(touring). There, that didn't take long.
