Just messing around, but I kind of like it. (Actually 'love' the first riff.)
Just grabbed a drumbeat sample and started foolin about -- found a riff , then found another... did some one take stuff.
Was lookin to see if people thought the 2nd riff sounded too weird against the beat. Same 4/4 drum sample, but I twisted it and poked it a bit guitar-wise.

Sounds good, although the guitar does kinda stray from the beat in some spots; but I like it.

Thanks.
Strays from the beat on the 'non 4/4' second guitar part? Or did you think it floated a bit in other spots too?
Anyone else?

Thigh lickin'
Anyways, crunchy riffs.. dig it. It was a custom beat. Who cares if it "strayed?"

Like it. I can hear some good bass stuff in my headbone for it.
Good going, Zip.

Cool, thanks Phil.
Looks like it's a 'go' to have a run at making a
proper song out of it.

The first riff is good if standard heavy rock. The second riff is extra tasty.

I think they go well together. I'd like to hear a drummer get a hold of the riffs. They have a little "math" going on so a beat built off of the riffs would be cool. I can hear a beat that would compliment it in my head. Man I wish I could play drums well.

Maybe it would sound good a little faster.

Cool! It has a good southern/rock feel to it. I agree with Paul. I would step it up just a bit.

neanderpaul, Mike, thanks for checking it out.
I'll pick up the tempo and see how it pans out.
Wish I could hear whats going on in your head with the drums paul.
Thanks again to everyone that gave it a listen.

When I have a drum idea for the drummer I work with I "sing" the beat to him while I'll play the guitar. Don't know if that could work out in this case or not. Ideas anyone?
