the ideal gig is 2 play just the music u want 2 & @ the same tym play just what the audience wants 2 here.this is wat happens everytym we take take the stage.concernig covers,i suggest one attempts 2 learn evry specific discernable note posible 2 not only become a more qualified well rehersed studious musician but 2 also be prepared 2 hook up with like-minded musicians becuase this usually ALWAYS results n the most personally satisfyn performances & greater monetary gain.added note...the more 1 lerns 2 polish what others have already perfected(covers)the more 1 will excell & stand above the rest w/originals.[/quote]

AMEN HUNTER.

If you can't spell and or punctuate, you really can't write at all. And this is not one of some little childs' texts, so do us all a favor and show us you can write when you feel like it. ( You know where to stick your cellphone, in the trashcan)

Franny? I thought you were a butsect. I bet you like Melissa Etheridge as well, you snapping and popping bass player you (waives fist) lol You got a short haircut?

The dog is telling me lies again. LOL

In all fairness to da-vo, however, after I deciphered his text, it seems he brings up some valid points.

Easy, Hunter. 8) However, I agree. It gets annoying and reeks of ignorance when someone, in real life, comes up to you and says something like "It was so funny I LOL-ed so hard" :?

It hurts my eyes too =/

As much as I can ascertain, Da-vo means,

Ideally, it would be cool to play only tunes that you like, but If (as pertains to "cover" material, you can work up a set-list that ,in general, the listeners like, as well as yourself, and you can hook up with other player who are of like mind, well then,
THAT WOULD BE FRIGGIN'AWSOME!

your ol' pal,
