Got my fingers crossed. Contacted a new Bandmix member recently. Very impressed wth him so far. He knows a lot of the covers we're doing and has professional experience. He can also sing and writes songs and WANTS to do original songs (what a breath of fresh air!) I'm looking forward to many future gigs with him. Our first gig is this Saturday June 7 (private party at a disc golf tournament in Kansas City). Maybe we can get back into the studio before the end of the year and record a full CD. Maybe our recent bad luck with guitarists will FINALLY END. Later...

Good luck with it, I hope it works out. I have the opposite situation here, you just about can't turn around without stepping on a guitar player and no bands...of course most of the guitar players are flaky, half baked, drunks or waist deep in some sort of habit, but they're everywhere...and not a band in sight that needs one...

I hope this guy works out well for ya

Thanks for the encouragement. I don't know if new guitar player fishes or not. He's from Wisconsin so I'd be surprised if he doesn't or hasn't fished. I'd love to get at some of those walleye in Wisconsin. We've got a few of them here, but they're hard to catch. I forgot to mention the guitarist's name, it's Guitar Tony ( I think that's his Bandmix profile name). So far so good. Tomorrow night blues, bob, bluefin tuna band, beer and barbecue. Lots of b's. Later...
