Hunter, I like your song. There are several vocal highlights. Some tasty melodies and tastier harmonies. I like the structure. The performance is good. The levels were really all over the place. I had to turn it way up and then way down. I'd like to hear you play a guitar through an old tube amp turned up with no effects pedals. That's just me though. The song needs to be eq'd better too. It seemed like to much bass and treble. Maybe another mixing session? I need to listen several more times to really absorb it all. I listened twice through so far. I'LL BE BACK! :D

Thats really good Hunter. I enjoyed the listen. I felt the lead was too metal (imagine me saying too metal) for the rest of the song,s flavor.
Neanderpaul may be on to something in his crit. A cool lead with the sustain breaking into some distortion sounds right at home with a gritty tone. But can sound out of place against a smoother tone

I'm surprised that yall are saying the lead sounds out of place.
Was it the tone of the guitar, or the structure of the song?
And you're right, Neanderpual, I need to remix it.
Perhaps I'll just redo it. With a different solo....
Any other suggestions?

Which song is it? Remembering, or Move On?
If everyone is refering to Remembering, then it's 'tone of the guitar'.
Too swampy and spacey IMO.
Try the lead tone from Move On.
Or try something dry and brittle like the intro lead of Remembering. I would shoot for a 'bare trees in winter freeze' kind of sound.

So, I'm confused, but I will say that I liked Remembering. More so than Move On.

I like it ol' buddy.
You have good vocal quality. Neanderpaul is right about the mix, that bass almost popped these little 'puter speakers right out on the floor! Good job none the less, keep em commin'.

For Move On, I don't find anything wrong with the way the solo sounds.
Sorry for my mucking up the thread. :)

Didn't hear it at first. Had to jack the volume up all the way. Had to bring down latter. Other than the mix I liked it. Great vocals, and I didn't have a problem with the lead either. I thought it worked. But that's just me. But then the song is your's so if you like it leave it. Nice song.
