rough riff - so scratchy my eyeball exploded. You owe me one eyeball. Always take the treble down when recording, you can always adjust it upwards on the final mixdown.

Delay.. take it down a notch, add more reverb to fill it out, you will get a much more pleasant tone that way.

i also play way too hard. i learned on a classical guitar, not enough experience with the amp
