It takes so much work to get a good band in sync that when you get onstage it seems easy. I'm there with you all there. But it is when you get under the lights and in front of an audience that counts. Do you have your sound together? Do you each really know how to get that gel with your tech?

It all comes down to the performance. That is where your work needs to pay off. That is the real pressure.

[I'll add a qualifyer, I"m a long experienced cover band type, been on both sides of the sound board].

In reality, rehearsing is easy, you can do it for years, have fun, and get nowhere.

Push your vision out to an audience, that is the hard part.
