I finally added vox to the song Jimmy Danger called baked beans. I wrote lyrics and called it "nothing but wrong"

Dang Jimmy, that "move to Detroit" thing gave me chills. I use to just do that. Drop of the hat I'd move to play. I have lived in Roanoke VA, Athens GA, Birmingham AL, Dallas and Fort Worth TX, Henderson, Jackson, and Murfreesboro TN. Now I have babies, and a wife and bills. I know you know what I mean. I'm still making music, but just not at the rate I used to. My family is soooo worth it though.

Sans! Buddy! Thanks!! Jimmy freakin' rules. My fave guitarist in years! Definitely in the the top 3 I've ever worked with in 21 years. Jimmy, bring it on buddy! You'd hate Roanoke though. Limited scene. Plus remember I don't play bars. What we did is what I do. I would love to do some more. Send anything you want. Covers etc. Send 20 and I bet we get 5 - 10 keepers.

You know I thought about putting in pics and vids of war but I didn't want to be too specific. Plus editing what I had was a big job I worked on the audio editing and then the video editing from about 9:30 pm - 4:30 am. I would definitely like some footage of Jimmy tearing it up.

I like Jim's tone.. deep.
Ozzy/Geddy -ish vox.. very well made.. at first I gotta admit, I was like "Here we go again; another one-riff, one-sound tune" .. I went 170 degrees.. I like it =D

Nice solo too.

Your probably dead on, on that Paul. Leave some for the listener. If your "hearing" the lyrics your mind will do the rest. And yea some clips of Jim. :D

Paul, How'd you do the video? Did you use 2 cameras, or 3, or use 1 and tape it twice?
I just got a camera and trying to work on some stuff too.

You got some pipes too. Plus great mixing and effects. Don't know weather you inspire me to keep at it or say screw it you'll never be as good as that. You are one of the ones here that are at a unbelievable professional level. You, Irmy, Mischief, and a few others.
And great job too Jimmy. Great guitar work.

Thanks Blair! Singing is my favorite toy. I am most comfortable at vocals. I love the bass and feel good about my bass playing. There are some things I can do pretty well on guitar and keys, but I have lots of limits on both. The singing just comes naturally. I've always sang. Growing up going to A Capella churches really handed me my voice. I used 1 camera and moved it to 3 positions. 1 for each vocal take. I edited video using pinnacle studio plus. I edited the vocals using audacity. And what can I say about Jimmy? He owns that guitar. He manipulates it like he was born with it attached to him. I WANT MORE!!

Great collab!!!

I would tweak the lyrics slightly and maybe the chorus could use a little help, but that is a really good effort and the stuff you came up with Paul is very complimentary to Jimmy's solid riffs! The melody over the verses is just badass!

That's a great example of how online collabs can go right!

Good job guys!

What is the Iron Man reference I saw on some of the comments? Did I miss something?

Cause that song could be badass to mix with some Iron Man trailer footage. I bet it would get spread far and wide if you mixed that in with shots of you in the studio, and Jimmy should send you some footage of him wailing here and there!

That would get alot more views, but on the other hand, it's a shame no one has any really firm connections to movie producers or the like, cause that song is perfect to go on a sound track of an action flick! And then you guys could get paid the royalties it deserves.

It's really strong work on both parts. And memorable on the first hearing, which is key, and not always that easy to accomplish. I'll probably be humming this in my head all day! LOL
