Hi there,

We are a new up and coming entertainment agency from South Shields called "NE ENTERTAINMENT" and we are looking for Solo artists, duos, tribute acts, bands etc, any styles, as long as they are covers, for social clubs, pubs, functions around the tyne and wear area, we charge you 15% of your fee if you decide to do a gig for us, this is a lot less than other agents.
If you are interested please email nemusic@gmail.com or ring 07758228906.
Please let us know what type of singer/band you are, what songs you do, what price you are looking for and how many gigs you are looking for a month.
There is no contract to state you cannot work for another agent or for yourself as well as working for us.
Thanking you.

Ahem... OK... Here goes..... We are a commercial metal act looking to do 16 gigs a month (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights) At only $1000.00 a night(after your 15% so each member has to take home $250.00 each night)
You must provide air fare and accommodations including 3 meals a day and rehearsal space for us to work on new tunes and brush up on old ones during the week. All calls made to our families in the U.S. must be paid for by NE ENTERTAINMENT!

After one month of successful shows, if you still want to work with us, our salaries shall increase by 50%. We are looking forward to your response and let us know when we should start working on renewing our passports!

Thank You

Pfft. I thought 10% was the going rate for agents.

Actually in the north east of england agents rates average at 20%, in fact the agent I was previously working with is 20% plus vat!
As for post before, when we are more established, i'm sure i'll be in touch and meet your requirements!
Thanks

Sarah.

Rates for Booking Agents are between 10% and 20%, with 10% being on the low end. We pay our agent 10%, but they are a new company.

Lol! Haha. You know what I love, I love the G-mail account, what professional business has a G-Mail account!? When I ran my own business site I used my sites e-mail (Even though it was a Yahoo it was a business account).

Plus, I love how you entered in that number, a great portion of us are Americans, we are not use to dialing those numbers. You put no spaces or dashes anywhere, just threw up digits.

Very very unprofessional and looks fraudulent.

Peace, GuitarAnatomy.

You's are arses who need to get a life!
Not only is this post not relevant to people in America, why would it be when it is in England, how would I ever get you's work here, who in there right minds would pay for unknown acts to come half way across the world! and also as regards to the agent fee, how can you comment when you don't live here and know what agents charge, do you think I just made this up?!
Please save your energy in future to do something worthwhile with your lives!

but...but....but... I was actually being serious :? ... My real dad is from England which actually makes me English...no?? I gave you all the numbers, my sites and what type of music we play.... I think my asking price was definitely one helluva bargain... hell it only comes out to about 50 grand a piece a year... we all make much more than that in our normal everyday jobs! We are pretty well known in NY and are pretty much adventurous enough to take that chance of clubbing in England as long as we could put a few pounds in our pockets.... If you are on the up and up, don't hesitate to try something wth us in the future... all my biker buddies on http://www.ukbeg.com would love to come down and watch us play... they're always asking us to get our asses across the pond!

Hey there!

Thanks for posting nonsense and a GMAIL account for us. Although, rather than fly off the handle and act even more unprofessional (which reeks of SCAMMER), you may want to wonder why you didn't think to post in the UK forum, considering that .. you know.. there IS a uk forum would tip you off that the general forum would have more than UK people in it...

Whatever.. blah.. you are probably some kid in moms basement thinking you can get gigs for bands not realizing that they would just laugh at you. No experience, a gmail account, and the diplomacy skills of a rabid wolverine. This post proves it.

When you hit the bad nerve on the head, they scream like they are in the dentist's chair.

I'll give you 20%. lol 20% of nada and 80% sarcasm, now you have 100%.

If people are out there, busting their sack doing this day in and day out, what makes you think they need YOU?

I'll give you 1% to go away. lol
