I accepted a new nursing position today. More money. Closer to home!
Weekends off (most of the time anyway) Big time managment challenge!
Now to get my butt out and beat the bushes for gigs for the band!
I'm hopefull that this will give us a chance to get out and get some exposure.
Just had to tell someone in the musical community.

I worked 15 years in retail, nights.. weekends.. holidays...

Almost exactly 1 year ago I found a 9-5 M-F job that finally allowed me to join a band and chase the dream. It changed my life.

Yo, thanks guys, Was bittersweet this morning telling my boss I was going down the road. I really like her, she has kept my smartass out of trouble with the Adm. lots. ( Besides I think she's hot )
New job is going to be a real challenge of the WILL. Hey but I WILL get me a new guitar out of the deal Hum new Strat or maybe that Carvin V. I always did like to focus on that carrot on a stick!

Congrats brother! Movin on and up at the same time is always a positive move man. You're a cool cat and you deserve this better position. Check out Caparison guitars too. They are more unforgiving than most, but they reward you with a wider tonal range than even my Jacksons do. Just depends on what you're willing to spend and what sound that you're after...

Oh boy, My first official day is going to be 06/03, But I started today.
I've got my work cut out for me. Like trying to play lead guitar for our band wasnt enough of a challenge The "boss" was so impressed I am replacing two people. (yikes)
