Well this INXS cover sure needs the vocals, and I really need to add that tambourine, but after a couple of hours of playing with the expression wheel on my keyboard, I was happy with the way the sax solo came out.

Thanks Kidd...the keyboard's an old Rhodes 660 by Roland that I bought back around '91. The levels...yeah man I think that would be the one tip I'd give anyone just starting the home recording thing. Every step from laying down tracks, to bouncing to final mix...don't worry about what the meters say keep turning up until it starts to sound gross, then back off just a "C" hair 8)

Sounds great Dax!

How did you do it?

My wife Cin (bass) and I did a duo some years back , and thanks to a lot of synth programming on my part on the ol' Yamaha SY-55, we pulled of a decent live version of INXS's "Need You Tonight- Mediate". We sure could have made good use of your talents back then! We would have made an awsome trio. (come to think of it, if we had The Kidd on "real"drums, we would have probably been the best band on the block!
