That and people that advertise seeking people they don't really need.
Hunter, that's damn near every instrument under the sun your seeking. Do you really need a bagpipe player in your Christian Contemporary Country Band?

Mike, you really underestimate the versatility of bagpipes bro!

Nah, I love the bagpipes Craig. It's just that I would hate to see a good Christian Contemporary Country Bagpiper get his heart broke when he responds that ad.

What I mean when I posted all of the options is that anything goes. If you contact me and you play a cello and play it well be sure I've got at least a half a dozen tracks that could use it. As well as any other instrument. It just means we are wide open.

I know what you mean, but those guys can always get work. I've probably had about 10 CCCB'ers apply just this week alone, for every bass player who has. You've probably experienced about the same?
I know, back when I was single I was jealous as hell, cause those Christian Contemporary Country Bagpipers are the guys that always get the chicks!

Well, Paul, then make the distinction that certain of what you seek is for studio work, unless you wanna tour with a cellist that you use on 1/50th of your material.

I can't make that call. If someone walks into my life with any instrument and moves me enough to start writing with them then I very well may make the commitment to put enough material together for a show. I've gigged with me on bass and vox, a drummer on vox and that was it. I'm just wide open to all instruments.

I can understand that, Paul. Good luck, my good man!
Perhaps I'm a bit too locked in on what I want, but I'm trying to find ppl to fit into my headful of arrangements...guess I'd best just notate it all out & hire me some guns, if that's the way I'm headed, hey?
There is some stuff that I've written that could use a good cello...dunno if I could write for it all the time though.
If only I could write something along the line of Tull's "The Third Hurrah" to use them pipes! Man that would be something!

I am infected with Christian Rock Madness. For now that narrow focus is all I need. I respect the more open minded members here who look at the whole spectrum. Perhaps one day my eye will wander as well, and thirst for other waters. But for now........
