That sure is pretty Crip2Nite. I'm a Strat man myself but I do play the Les Pauls also when playing the heavy stuff. A Les Paul through a good Marshall stack is a wonderous sound.

Is that white one with the gold hardware and Agile LP?

Looks identical to mine- and IMO better than Gibson's

I hope your ass falls off! :D

People who can just grab up any Les Paul and play it make me jealous as hell, the only ones I can find with necks slim enough I can play them are [usually] Japanese or Korean copies. Gibson necks are almost always too fat, they hurt my hand to play them. A friend has a white one just like yours, nice axe but I can't play it more than 5 minutes or so, my wrist and forearm will start to hurt due to the fat neck and tendon damage from many years ago.

I found exactly one in over 30 years of looking - a goldtop, '60 or '61 the guy said, I could actually play the thing (he could barely play 3 chords) and he refused to sell it...but it had a neck slim enough I could play it more than 5 minutes without hurting. Not long afterward I ended up with a silver shadow Lotus L P copy, loved it and should have kept it...

That looks like a nice one, very similar to Jimmy Page's favorite Les from his Zeppelin days. I'm partial to the Black, Tobacco Sunburst and Goldtops, but the red sunburst is nice too.

Hope you like it...

No wait, I hope your ass falls off - that's right...

I love the look of the block inlays on a fretboard. Mother of Pearl or Abalonie, Just looks so fine. Was going to buy me a new axe as part of the economic stimuli, But my old lady changed jobs again today. Now I have to get her some new wheels or she'll cop my Jeep. No more company car :(

Cool... the only difference is yours is a rosewood fretboard... the one I got is actually pure, black ebony wood....

symantics...

well, ok, I'm jeaous.

I've only ever owned one guitar with an ebony fretboard, I recall it had the most amazing natural sustain I've ever heard. Someday I will find it's replacement.

I've got myself a 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar. All black and gold plated. I was looking up on ebay and they were going for close to 20,000. It was great grandpas, he passed it down to me along with a Gibson Les Paul bass guitar, a Guild Superstar Tube Amp, and a Leslie Organ Amplifier. All very nice pieces. I'll post some pictures of the guitar up on here sometime soon. I'd be interested to see what it is really worth. Selling it is the furthest thing from my mind, but just out of curiosity!
