New Gig

We have an opportunity to do a show with some friends of ours, a female fronted band...

The gig is at a PRISON in MI. They played the show last year and said the 500+ audience of inmates was the best audience they ever had.

It is a min security and most of them are on their way out..

Sounds like alot of hassle though you have to fill papers out for a background check, make a list of all the items you take. Cant take people with, no pictures or videos.. Pat down on the way in, all that fun stuff.. And of course, No Pay

What do ya's think?

Well, you can bet that there won't be any great exposure for it, but imho, it's a good thing to do. Good practice, too. A "captive audience"...wow...every performer's dream, that, eh? LOL

If it's good enough for Johnny Cash, it's good enough for me.

That being said...I'd hafta do a thourough cleaning of my Jeep...LOL ( I bought it used from a guy whose habits are far from legal!)

Good luck.
