Has kinda a zeplin live sound.
One of them sounded like it was compressed to much.
one had a mega phone sound.
The flange one, Hmmm?
Nice chops there Kidd!!! I can tell you have some Jazz influence... 8)

Yo KIDD, I personaly liked the first mix, the highs sounded pretty good on all of them but the skins sounded more live / natural to my ear on these cheep assed speakers.
PS I posted seven of our original tunes, you may have heard some of them already, Ray had remixed them on his puter for us to have a CD in the car to work our own crit on what we are doing. No samples with the new amp though.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for responding....Yeah , ya get a different EQ report depending the players EQ,the persons monitors, THEIR EARS , quality of sound card, AD converters ,DA converters ETC ETC ETC....CAN I GO KILL MYSELF NOW?.. ...Its too much boys...Too many parameters to have to worry about with digital...Yeah Needle, I use to really have the wrists and fingers for jazz but I dont play enough anymore...Thanks for the comp...Yeah , Sanshouheil ,Ive heard yalls mixs in the past but cant remember comparably their differences..The ones ya have up right now are mixed pretty good but have a low middy contour to them (too much 300-400HZ) NOW, thats thru my flat (near field) monitors...Believe it or not, your LIVE tunes sounded better than the demos...Prolly becuase fequencys were supressed in the demos that my monitors cant bring out anymore..It would take stereo speakers...Which I dont have ..OR putem in cool edit and run the parametric..
Needle ,your live tune sounded good..Was it done on tape originally?Kinda has that "sound"..Like the female vocals too nice compressed drums on that one..Anyway, back to the drawing board.. Im thinkin about going back to Analog to record , then mix in the digital realm...

I think it depends on where you want to use them (I personally only liked flanged drums as a quick break) but you did a good job first time out.

Have you played much with compression and hard limiting? I think they could help get your mix more "out in front" if you know what I mean. Since I'm not a drum tech or a drummer like you are, I can't tell you exactly what to do but if you play around with those settings I know your drummers ear will find what I'm talking about.

Hey Irmy,

Thanks for the critque...Yeah, your right , I really havent spent the kinda time with comp/limit in the digital realm to really (honestly) know what Im doing..I just move dots around till I kinda get what i want then 2 min. later I dont like it... :( ...Yeah, I did mess with it but each setting seemed to be too much or not enough, too loud , too soft, too much gate.etc..But what about that flanger?..Hard to go wrong on that one.. ..Solo was a bit lengthy... ..NOW, if I could just flange VOCALS like that..Cant seem to get it to flange the right FEQ, for vocal (1K-3K)...Most people with home studios around here are not that much more ADV. than me  .
I went to a couple drum boards and listened...Most were not THAT much better than mine...I just wanted to demo my playing in different time sigs
on a myspace page to get work and wanted it to sound halfway decent...Ill still use the ole trusty SQ1 for the originals though.
