Sounds pretty good to me too Chris, though the tempo is too fast for my taste, and (this is a hard one for me to say) The guitar tone seems lost in a distorted buzz. May be as you intended but its something I,ve been trying to balance myself between distortion and tone. So take that as it is intended.
Welcome to the Bandmix fray dude.

i used logic express 8 on a mac desktop...did all my arranging, mixing, and production in there, including drums...contrary to popular belief, i did NOT use drumkit from hell...instead, i used some stock sounds that came with logic and tinkered with them enough to make them sound believable

Let a pure metalhead give some critique! :D

Although the non-metalheads here have better ears than I do, lol.

-------
I like it, it sounds like it is in either Drop A or Drop B tuning, which is it?

It has a great deep sound, a little unclear. But all and all, I like what I am hearing. I wish the drums were a bit stronger in the background, they seem a little faded. It reminds me of Sevendust, but more so of Chimaira.

What I want to hear is a bit more solo action going on in there, man. I could probably put a solo to that, I know I hear it in my head, lol. I wish I could put one together and send it to you, but of course I still do not have the right recording program on my computer (Curses too, I just got the hookup and I do not got the program for this yet, waiting for my friend to give it to me).

Also, congratulations! Me and you are both 19, which makes us some of the youngest members of the forum!

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Lol. No problem, man. Heck, I will try and put a solo to it, I like playing lead, but it is probably going to sound horrid. Although, I am also better at rhythm guitar (Hence why I probably will be doing some kind of acoustic duo before any electric guitar stuff in a band).

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

It's awesome! It actually reminded me of Fear Factory...good clear tone (some recordings sound quite muffled) a bit fast for me too now as I get older (most days ;) but that's not you, it's me! I loved the obvious difference between the highs and lows (sorry, I'm lost in my wolrd of raising small kids and may not always know the right lingo) but it's not the same tempo or volume all the way, yk? Totally enjoyed it! :)

I would say it's good and the only thing I agree with some of the others is the tempo a little fast and could use a little polish. Other than that, AWESOME !!!! Keep it up and post some more as you get them done.

Sweet dude! Great stuff, nice guitar tone. Might be nice to hear it with a "real" drummer, but still good. Check my stuff, just me and a drummer, I do the guitars and bass. Still trying to round up a vocalist and they need leads but you get the idea. Again, good job!
