Don't wanna play just one genre...no no no!

Just posted a few tunes you never heard of...Something To You is something I started working on with a few guitar players & drummers...this is one learning session...just hoping to know if you like the tune, while I find ppl who wanna play it & rerecord it, ya know, more better

She Wanted To See was something I did a long time ago with a band that is defunct...good players though...I played the acoustic & sang that bad vocal that I never got around to fixing

Morons is for everyone who takes themselves so seriously that they'd never even consider doing a novelty song...did it all myself on a 4-track...(I know...tacky)

imo music is s'posed to be fun, & sometimes, yes, even funny

Hey Neighbor,

I like ,I like...Good mix of genre...Just curious , How did ya interface the 4trk to the puter...Are the tunes 2 trk mixdowns, or straight off the muti-tracker...I did the same thing only I recorded straight from the tracker in to "Cool Edit"...Used alittle hiss reduction and they actually sound better than live tape...Ya might wanna run some EQ and noise reduction AFTER you've turned them into mp3s'...

hmm, a song that insults its audience... how novel.
listened to "morons"...
ok here's what I'd tell myself:
in time - no prob there
gtr tone is not all that great
song is seriously funny... I laughed (with you)
vocals are ok - kinda nasal
vocal harmonies are nice

-i think if you redid this at a much higher speed it could be cool. I was kinda chugging along with it and felt like it was going along a hair slow.
I could see an 'ala bare naked ladies' approach working very well.
that's my 2 cents

Bluesy. I like it. Reminds me a little of Clapton.

Really good song.

Got a 60's 70's feel.
I liked it.

Tnx for the input!

Yes, Mike, I insult my audiences all the time, & they seem to thrive on it.

Another thing I like to do is to start singing that old John Denver "Country Roads" as off-key as I can (I live in WV). Then I stop mid-song & tell them that if they don't sing it with me, I'll sing the whole damned song like that. Then, after it's done, I get them all to sing the chorus off-key with me...omg can it get BAD! But it's fun as well as funny, until some granfallooner gets his butt on his shoulder about me ruining the state song...then the whole audience gets to join in & iritate him further...all good naturely, you understand.

CM...on Something To You, I was actually hoping for more of a Gary Moore feel...guess I missed the mark on that one
