Hello all.... here is whats up...I have a friend who works in advertising ... I actually got to thinking about getting neanderpaul a shot at a commercial and sent the link to a friend of mine...no dice this time but he said he would keep it in mind for future projects....well we started talking and I found out he has an account for a german car company who (B) im not(M) supposed to name (w) they are doing a commercial wher two cars are involved in a car chase...so he is looking for the right song...just needs to be up tempo...that was his only rule....all genres...all takers....he was complaining at the cost of a mainstream song....so i convinced him i could gather some unsigned talent....you guys work cheaper LOL....exposure is more important....atleast thats what i told him anyway....check out my blog for details. its on myspace and blogger.

The add is not due to air until october..i guess its slated for holiday reasons so final product is due august....they are in story board right now and will start shooting later this month....songs and what not need to be taken care of by the end of april.....so ther is some time but not a lot as I have to compile all the songs and get them to him....thus the reason for email ....I posted it on myspace as well and i have hundreds of people saying "visit my page and let me know"....sadly they didnt read well because its not my decision and he isnt going to want ot search hundreds of pages.....it is giong to have to be emailed to me or atleast email me the link and ill take care of getting it....and dont for get the contact info ...i got 5 emails today without contact info just a link to a song and an email address...nothing more....so when i contact them am I supposed to be like hello pinkbarbie2007 ?....LOL..What amazes me the most is the people who give no contact info and put in there "looking to sign with serious label or major promoter".....im like dude if you were really trying to do that you would 1 follow instructions about what to do...2...be polite and curtious...and 3 not use words like SERIOUS...or MAJOR....most managers and promoters dont classify themselves that way and though I dont manage anymore even i took offense..like hey im not major but i do a good job whats wrong with me?......its just funny how people forget that it is teh music BUSINESS...not the music HOOK-UP some professinalism is appreciated. sorry ..ill get down from the soap box now LOL...anyway... Like i said ...im going to himon april 17th with what i have...and we will see from there...but...the more entrants i get the better off we all are...if he sees how serious people are and how well this kind of thing works...maybe he will be willing to do it again in the future. thanks to all....sorry about the long winded response. LOL

And I agree with you on the 'serious" and "major" thing. I don't doubt that you deal with a lot of crazy stuff, and bonehead people.
